Kingsville Community
Kingsville, Texas is located in Kleberg County. Kingsville is home of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, the King Ranch (once the largest privately owned ranch in the US), and the Naval Air Station Kingsville, a US Army Reserve unit and Jet aviation training location. The city of Kingsville ranks in the 10% of the highest populated cities in Texas (Bureau T. D., 2017), and it is the largest city in its county.
Kingsville is the county seat of Kleberg County, established in 1904 and named after Richard King, owner of the above mentioned King Ranch. The city public schools are operated by the Kingsville Independent School district. Public schools include HM King High Schools, Memorial Middle School and others. Institutions of higher education include TAMUK, Coastal Bend College and Irma Lerma College of Pharmacy (located at TAMUK).
